New Color Guard Class Next Semester

HCSTC is coming out with a new Color Guard Class in 2023 Fall semester. Color Guard is a team sport generally performed by High School and college students, and utilizes flags and other equipment along with dance to connect exercise with loads of fun! In our class, the age requirement is 7th graders and above (even adults can join). Both boys and girls are able to join, and no dance background is required. We will be teaching the basics of handling said equipment and learning one group routine per semester. The class will be led by two main teachers, Joanna Liang and Jojo Maza, who both have background in various types of dance and hold leadership and captain roles in Langley High School’s Color Guard Team. In addition to the class tuition, there will also be a class fee of $75 per student to be able to afford the equipment and costumes. The flags will be able to be taken home to practice and keep. If requested, you can refund the flags at the end of the season for half of the price. Our registration for the new year will be rolled out next week.
