HCSTC Announcement After 1st Day

Dear HCSTC Community members: We had a very busy but hectic day today, our 1st day of the 2023-24 Fall semester. Overall, things went quite smooth and ended better than we expected, with a few minor glitches/hiccups. No air conditioning in the building is definitely one of them. We hope the next Sunday will be better. A couple of very important reminders: Tuition Payment: Tuition is due upon registration. The School requires every student to fully pay their tuitions after they register. And they definitely are due after the 1st week of the School. To make it convenient to our parents, you can pay with PayPal which is located at the lower right hand corner on your family account page. All unpaid students will be dropped from our registration system in the coming week, and their registration for classes will be deleted from our system. On the next Sunday, 9/17, anyone who has not paid tuition is not allowed in the classrooms. Teachers will identify those unpaid students in their classrooms and bring them to the cafeteria. This is to ensure the integrity and fairness of the HCSTC. Refund Policy: September 10, 2023 is the 1st day of the School. If students do not wish to continue after their 1st day of classes, they should immediately drop their classes from our registration system online and complete the process by the end of September 13,2023. The School will refund 100% of the paid tuition and credit them back to the family accounts; however, the registration fees are not refundable. After September. 13, 2023, tuition will not be refundable. The deadline date is set to give registration team members enough time to process these requests and allow our teachers to be notified and drop these students from their classes. However, families can change their paid classes to any other classes of equal $ value that we offer at TC campus, without any additional charge during the entire semester; in case they find that their originally registered classes may not fit their needs later. This is to provide the most flexibility and convenience to our TC campus community members and lessen the workload of our volunteers.
