Great News! Dr. Osborne Will Teach 7th Grade TJ Math and Science Prep Class at HCS-TC This Semester!

Dear Parents/Guardians: Great news for 7th graders! Per parents’ requests, Dr. Osborne, one of our students’ favorite teachers, will teach our 7th-grade TJ prep math and science classes at HCS-TC at 4 pm on Sunday!

Dr. Osborne is a widely respected teacher at Thomas Jefferson High School (TJHSST) and a published author. He holds a Ph. D. in physics and has 19 years of teaching experience. He has been teaching various courses: Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Advanced Mathematical Techniques, BC Calculus, Physical Science, Physics, AP Physics B, AP Physics C, and Differential Equations. His exceptional talent and enthusiastic teaching style reveal the true fun in physics and math!

This class will not only help students improve their math and science knowledge but also help them perform very well on the TJ entrance exam.

Each class will have only 10-12 students. The tuition is $50 per week.

All students are required to complete their registrations online. We use the registration system to determine how many handouts to make. We also have the virtual option for students who cannot attend in person.

Our TJ English Prep class will be taught by Ms. F, who is a current FCPS English teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience. She holds master’s degrees in English and Art Education, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. She has been awarded the Teacher of the Year award at her school.
