As we all know, college admission offices have apparently stopped looking at SAT scores from college applicants in their admission process.

AP test scores, therefore have gained more importance as part of students' college applications. Colleges nowadays, generally consider the grades earned in AP classes to be a more significant indicator of a students academic readiness. A strong grade in an AP course shows to college that the student can handle a rigorous curriculum. Colleges generally value, a rigorous course load, and taking AP classes is one way to demonstrate this.

The HCSTC offers AP Chinese course and we are very happy to announce that there are two students who enrolled in our AP Chinese class last year took the AP exam this summer and both of them got a perfect score of 5; which certainly will be very helpful in their college application process.

If your children are planning college application in coming years, you may want to consider enrolling them into this class as our teacher of the AP Chinese class has plenty of experience about this and good results to show for.

But, of course, hard work is an indispensable part of the course, as perfect score of 5 does not fall off from the sky, meaning one has to work for it, under the guidance of our experienced teacher.

Something to think about if you have children of high school age.

Best,

HCSTC
