9/29/2024 HCSTC Announcement
Dear HCSTC Community members,
This Sunday marks the fourth week of our Fall semester at HCSTC. Registration for all classes have been mostly finished, and most of the students have found their proper places in various curriculums and grade levels via free classes switching with the help of our registration team volunteers.
As a reminder, safety is always the most important matter in our school. As parents, please take a moment to talk to your children about safety in our school, such as no running in the hallway, no windows climbing, including handrails of staircases, etc. These actions can cause severe bodily injuries on your children and their friends, plus the injuries sometimes can lead to long term damaging impacts on their health.
Equally important, I would like to remind parents that it is ALWAYS parents' responsibility to drop off their children at the correct classrooms and pick them up promptly when their classes end.
Another issue I'd like to bring your attentions to is homework. According to some feedback from our teachers, some students do not complete their homework assignments. To spend 100 minutes each week at the HCSTC, without doing any assignments at home simply will not do the magics for your children in learning Chinese. I've covered this issue in several parents meetings over the years, unfortunately, some parents simply don't get it and it's been very frustrating for our teachers and the school. I hope all parents pay enough attention on this front.
Best wishes,
HCSTC
