6/11 HCSTC Announcement

Dear HCSTC Community members: First of all, happy fathers day to all Dads of our campus. Hope all of you enjoyed our 2022-2023 school year end performance party last Sunday afternoon. Congratulations again to all our graduates. Our deepest appreciations to the 10 high school graduates These 10 young men certainly have set up excellent examples for others to follow. We wish them again all our best as they move on in their lives, going to colleges. I'd like to offer my two cents comments at the end of our school year: Social skills in our society is equally important as academic skills. I hate to point out that some of our parents certainly have overlooked that and been painfully wondering why their children failed to excel in the main stream society with their superb academic backgrounds. It's time to wake up and to change. Back to our picnic: The school picnic is on 6/11 at the Carderock Recreation Area Pavilion, MD. Direction is attached. It will be starting from 10:00 am to take advantage of the cool morning. Lunch will start around noon and you can stay on afterwards till you are burned out under the sun and with the fun. We'll have badminton, volley balls and other games. Feel free to bring your favorite games also and show off your talents there.

Because there is no physical address to the site, please check the driving direction before you leave or input the GPS coordinates into your map tool. GPS Coordinates: 38.971566, -77.199544 From VA: - Take 495N, right after corossing the MD border, take exit 41 toward Carderock/Great Falls.

- After you are on the exit, take left lane to Carderock

- Merge onto the Clara Barton Pkwy and continue 1 mile to the Carderock exit (on the right is the David Taylor Model Basin 9500 MacArthur Blvd., West Bethesda, MD 20817).

- Take the Carderock exit and at the stop sign, turn left to cross over the Clara Barton Pkwy. Follow the road until you reach a second stop sign.

- Turn left for parking lot "A" or turn right for parking lot "B" and the restrooms. (The pavilion is located between the two parking lots.)
