3/2/24 HCSTC Announcement
Dear HCSTC community members,
This coming Sunday is a normal school day for us.
As we preannounced last week, some classes will have a Midterm Exam on the 3/10 and we'd like to remind again our students via their parents of that date to get prepared for the exam. Feel free to proactively ask their teachers any questions if any, either in classrooms or via emails; so that they are full prepared for the academic calendar.
On 3/17, the school will have teachers/parents meeting in our regular classrooms. The meeting is to help parents communicating with teachers on any issues they may have about their children's learning in the classrooms; at the same time, teachers will be able to provide parents some helpful inputs regarding to the performance of their children, such as homework completion, classroom participation and behaviors, etc. Typically, teachers will leave 15 to 20 minutes before the classes end on that day, so teachers will use that time to have a face to face conversation with parents on candid discussion about their children in HCSTC or anything related with the classes.
15-20 minutes is really not that long, especially for a relatively large class, so we strongly advise parents to take advantage of the opportunity to talk to teachers about their children, hopefully to get some feedback from the teachers and vise versa. It's always helpful to email your teacher to schedule in advance; or schedule a time after the classes, if your teacher is not teaching all 4 hours at the school.
Email to your teachers is also encouraged as all of our teachers' email addresses are clearly listed in our registration system. And you are welcome to send your feedback to the school, simply stop by at the front desk in the cafeteria during the school operation hours.
Best wishes to everyone,
HCSTC
