11/12 HCSTC Announcement

Dear HCSTC community, We will have a normal school day this week. Very soon, we will start working on our registration for the 2024 spring semester. It is expected to be rolled out after the Thanksgiving holiday. Again, for the convenience to our students/parents, all our fall semester registered students will be enrolled into our 2024 Spring semester. However, if you don't wish to continue to study at the HCSTC campus for any reason, you need to drop your classes for the Spring semester within our registration system once it rolls out. Our last day for this semester is 12/10 and our first day of the spring semester is 1/7/2024. There will be a parents' meeting this Sunday in the Cafeteria from 4-4:50, we hope that you all could attend. We also want to bring another important issue to our parents' attention. Homework. According to our teachers' feedbacks over this semester, it seems that some of our students either fail to pay enough attention to or totally ignore their homework assignments. Simply put, some of our students DO NOT do their homework. Needless to say, students simply can not effectively learn and master what's taught in classrooms without doing their homework assigned by their teachers. At Tysons' campus, each Sunday, after classes are finished, all our teachers send out an email to our students via their parents' email addresses, detailing the materials being taught in the classrooms and homework assignments for the week, with few exceptions for classes such as martial arts, tennis classes, etc. We hope that by bringing this problem to the attention of our parents, our teachers can get cooperation from parents in reminding/supervising their children to do their school assigned homework, so we can all work together helping our students study better, learn more effectively and achieve better results.
