10/27 HCSTC Announcement
Dear HCSTC community members,
The coming Sunday is a regular school day for our school. A couple of things that need your attention and participation this week.
1) There are teacher-parent conferences in the classrooms for all classes this Sunday afternoon. The meeting will be held in the same classroom where your kids attending the classes and it will start about 15 to 20 minutes before the classes end. The conferences are good opportunities for parents to meet and talk to the teacher face to face to get feedback on how your kids are doing in their classes. It is also a great opportunity for you to share with teachers of any concerns or suggestions you may have about your children's learning. Please take advantage of this opportunity to participate and contribute to your kid's learning experiences.
2) Some of the Chinese or math classes are scheduled to have Midterm Exam this Sunday. Please get your kids prepared for their exams. For those already had midterm last week, it's a good time to check with your kids on how they did.
As we have emphasized many times before, parents' involvement in your children's learning is very important for their success in their classes. Our teachers are required to communicate on weekly basis to the students and/or parents via emails, or through Google Classroom or other media of the teachers' choice. Please pay attention to those weekly communications and, most importantly, please remind your kids to complete their weekly homework assignments before heading to school every Sunday! Whatever classes your kids are taking in our school, they won't making good progress in their learning without spending a little more time working on their homework every week. Thank you for your help and efforts to making your kids' learning a success!
As always, we are so happy and appreciative that your family are part of our school community, and we look forward to seeing you and your kids in the school this coming Sunday afternoon!
Best wishes,
HCSTC
