1/1/2023 HCSTC Announcement

Dear HCSTC teachers, students and parents,

First of all, we'd like to take the opportunity to wish you a very Happy New Year!

Hope 2023 will be a better year than 2022 and the world will be able to see a complete end

to the pandemic so we can all get back to our normalcy; wishful thinking or not,

at least that is what we wish and hope for in the year of 2023.

The first day of our spring semester is 1/8/23. Registration has been open for a month!

To those families who are new to our campus, it's highly recommended that you go to our website to read the complete 6 sections listed there so that you fully understand our school policy and to avoid any misunderstanding/confusion later on. For everyone's convenience, our registration team rolled over your classes in the fall to the spring.

HOWEVER:

You must log into your HCSTC account to review your classes and pay your tuition.

If you decide to discontinue your classes from the fall semester, you must drop those

classes as soon as possible; otherwise, tuition will be invoiced in your HCSTC account

and remains there as unpaid balance until it is completely paid off.

On the registration page, please read carefully the School’s registration and refund policies.

You'll find Sunshine class schedule there as well. Please contact Sunshine Academy directly

if you have questions or wish register its class.

Registration Policy:

All registration must be completed online at http://www.www.hopechineseschool.org/hcstc/Logon.aspx.

We ask parents to register as soon as possible to secure your seats, as we limit the size of some of our

classes in order to assure a better learning experience.

Tuition Payment :

Tuition is due upon registration. We added PayPal as a new payment method. Families can choose

either to mail a check to the School (HCS-TC, P.O. Box 9023, McLean, VA 22102) or pay tuition by PayPal.

Again, for this semester, the School will continue to absorb the Paypal transaction costs. About 3% or so.

The School encourages students to fully pay tuitions after they register classes. If a class is full

but not all students pay their tuitions, the School reserves the right to drop any unpaid students

in order to make rooms for others.

Refund Policy:

January 8, 2023 is our 1st day of the School. If students do not wish to continue their classes after the

1st day, they can choose to drop their classes from the registration system online and should complete

the process by the end of Jan. 11. The School will refund their paid tuitions and credit them

back to the family accounts, however, the registration fees will not be refundable.

After the Jan. 11, tuitions will not be refundable anymore. The deadline date of Jan. 11 is set to

give our registration team enough time to process these requests and allow our teachers to be notified

and drop these students from their class lists. However, families can switch their paid class to any other

class of equal $ value that we offer at TC campus, without any additional charge during the semester;

in case students find that their originally registered classes may not fit their needs later.

This is to provide the most flexibility and convenience to our TC campus community members.
